Production Analysis
This production analysis is from a production of The Revolutionists by Lauren Gunderson. It acts as a list of all essential light, sound, prop, set, costume, and hair/makeup needs.
This analysis was based purely on text, and not on any creative liberties.
This Excel sheet allowed designers to have a reference for the bare bones of the show, or the basic things we absolutely needed to have an effective production. This was built on top of by their own creative choices.
Calling Script
This calling script excerpt is from a production of She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen.
This script includes light, sound, and some extra effects cues (i.e. fog machines).
Notably, this script lacks standby and warning cues, as I prefer to handwrite these so they can be moved as needed.
This script was made via StageWrite, my favorite software for making calling scripts!
Fight Call List
This fight call list is from a production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard.
This was created in order to streamline fight call, and also to allow ASMs to run it as needed with minimal issues. The items were also flagged in my blocking script, allowing us to flip to the contextual text if needed.
However, the actors quickly got used to the flow, and could be told the text listed in the "Description" column and knew what needed to happen!
Production Calendar
This production calendar is from a production of She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen.
This was shared as an Excel sheet, allowing it to be a live document that could be updated as necessary. This allowed designers, actors, crew, shop supervisors, etc to see all deadlines and rehearsals in one place.
The calendar was also color coded to allow all departments to find their pertinent info as easily as possible.
Blocking Notation
This excerpt of blocking notation is from a production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard.
These selections of blocking notation were made to be inserted into my blocking script, as some scenes were just far too complicated to attempt to notate them within the text.
This document shows notation for preshow blocking, a tragedian movement scene, and one of the combat scenes.
